The winner of this year's
Madden 21 coins Super Bowl simulator is the Kansas City Chiefs, who defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady with a score of 37-27. Unfortunately, EA didn't offer much in terms of a statistical breakdown or play by play for this year's simulation. Everything it did share is that the Buccaneers have an early 13-7 lead, but the Kansas City Chiefs go up 14-13 by half-time. The second half clearly sees both groups' offense then take off.
It's here where the Super Bowl overview from EA does not quite provide an entire narrative for what happens. There is a red zone run from Mahomes that delivers a touchdown for the Chiefs, at the minimum. Where the Chiefs' field goal comes into play along with the defensive stops that keep the Buccanneers from scoring again are left to fans' imaginations.
It is not fully clear if EA does a single simulated match, if it does multiple and chooses the best, or how EA implements its simulation. Regardless, this is the official Super Bowl 55 forecast from
